Rifle not "converted"......it uses Saiga or after market Saiga Hi-Cap mags. Tapco GP replacement by Dinzagarms, as noted in the post.

I got out of Saiga rifles because the M1A bug bit me.. But for what its worth for those interested:

*The Saiga .308 was the easiest conversion. So for those interested, the process is doable on your own, and its already got a 922r compliant gas piston installed. Thats just one more part to make your parts count less!

*The 22" does have a thicker reciever than its 16" sister to compensate for the longer barrel.
You can really tell when you have the two side by side.

*The barrel and chamber are chrome lined.

*Ccspecs and Uinta as well as surefire and promag make quality mags for this beast. Forearms and other parts are all now commonly available for folks to modify and customize the saiga line of rifles.

Accuracy wise, these rifles make great DMRs, they'll also eat any kind of ammo.
For $750 this is a good deal. I havent seen a Saiga .308 in a long time.

    To the OP, GLWS!
