Sage Rats (squeekers) in Nevada

I see on the internet Nevada is inflicted with rats like Oregon. I am planning a road trip to Sparks NV in mid - March. Has anyone shot NV rats and would you be will to share some info about finding a place to help exterminate? Thanks

Try e-mailing the Nevada Dept of Fish & Game. They should inform you about any firearms restrictions, or license requirements.

BLM might have some maps for land use on their site too, probably worth checking out. Just watch out for the wild horses! I've seen them from the highway driving through there a few times. Also if you google, use the term 'Whistle Pig', that's what they are called here - and I'm pretty sure they are referred as that in Nevada too.
