The 645 was my first center fire pistol. Bought it first year of production...1985 or 1986. Chosen over Colt...extra round, checkered straps, said to feed even empty cases, red sight, double action, etc. Sweet shooter no matter what handload I fed it...SWC, low power practice/target, +p, etc. Handled all accurately. Fine pistol.

I've had the idea for a long time of finding another 645 and doing a Cerakote or some other finish for field use.

I'm too much a poor family man for all my ideas...
