Does the 2A allow carry outside the home, and how much power does a state have to regulate such carry?

This could be the biggie on CCW

SAF petitions SCOTUS for review of Maryland carry case

The Second Amendment Foundation is asking Supreme Court review on concealed carry outside the home, petitioning the high court for review of a Maryland case challenging the state’s arbitrary standards for issuing and renewing carry licenses based on whether an individual citizen can prove “a good and substantial reason” for wanting to carry a firearm for protection.

Brutus, are we sure it will get any better? Even if we got a great president next time around, the appointments aren't a slam dunk. Look who Ronaldus Magnus appointed- O'Connor, Kennedy and Scalia. One out of three from the greatest president?
