This is a S&W M&P V Tac, in 40 smith and Wesson. It is in excellent condition with a very low round count. As you know this has a different color finish and upgraded sights that are the signature of this model. It comes with the extra grip inserts and two mags. 465.00 back ground check at my FFL.

This is a full sized correct. How is it for recoil typical 40. I've only shot a Glock 22 it was very snappy. Love the color.

The M&P 40 is not nearly as snappy as the Glock 22. The gun was designed from the ground-up as a 40 s&w.

Question what are the thoughts on stainless steel sleeves that were added to the 2.0 series of M&P pistols. Do they make that much of a difference as far as eliminating frame torque. Would it stop anyone from buying the first gen models. Asking specifically about the 40cal.

I have no idea on that, guess they would not have done it unless they thought it would help something but I have not seen a problem with this M&P or my other two shooting accurately and reliable. Maybe some one else could chime in on this one?

Very true someone caught their ear on possibility excessive flex in the frame.

I've got 15k rounds through my duty gun with 0 malfunctions. Just regular cleaning/lube and a couple recoil springs that I change out every 5k on all my pistols.

Actually this one is a different color than any other M&P that I have seen, our son does cerekote and he doesn't have anything like it in color, I don't know what they use or what it is though.
