That's a great price for a Remington 1911. I wish I had the funds to be able to be tempted to buy one.

As to great deals on a Shield, I guess I'm a little late to tell you all about the one I found. Gunbuyer.com had them (9mm w/safety) for $299 shipped, with 4 mags.
