Ah great question. It does and I will be adding photos and editing post to reflect on Thursday when I can take additional pictures.

Comes with the wood case (felt gone plastic insert needs re-feting for use) and the cleaning rod/screwdriver

A fantastic question! I am 100% positive, there were some mode 57 No dashes that have the recessed cylinder and a non pinned barrel. This is an N prefix serial number "transitional model"

I've had a few 57 no dash recessed and not pinned seem to happen more on the model 57s even though I have a 65-2 3" recessed but not pinned. I think they're just transitional Guns using up the last of the recessed cylinders.
