The model 28-2 is the same revolver as the polished 27 but with a utility finish for daily law enforcement service, thus the name HIGHWAY PATROLMAN. Smith & Wesson built this .357 on their heavier .44 N-frame. The 28-2 is a heavy duty revolver. Reliable, robust and uncomplicated, as simple as it gets.
