I have a S&W model 19-4 with 4 inch barrel, nickel plated, recessed cylinder(pre 82 I guess), original grips. It is in great condition aside from a nick in the nickel plating on the back of the frame. I will get more detailed pictures ASAP. Nice gun, wish I could keep it. $500

Ya know, I dont know. I was told these were original, I took the screw out and peeled them back and saw Smith&Wesson on the under side so I assumed they were. Could be wrong though, wouldn't be the first time

My Model 29-5 came with those same grips and I think others of that era did as well. I just think the wood grips are more well known.

In this guns era, all S&W Model 19s were always shipped with wood grips.
