Dude, that is a thing of beauty, put it back in the safe, it kills me that i just bought another scary black rifle on Sunday, for the same price or i would have been all over it, good luck with your sale.

I agree with both of you but I like to shoot my guns and I can't bring myself to pull the trigger on this one. Thanks for the comments

If it doesn't sell here maybe up the price and find a trusted place on consignment ?
Thats a pretty darn fair price especially the condition. I'm poor and outta state, or I would love to have this.
Looks almost new... OK need to stop looking lol

That's not a bad idea. I have my eye on a Colt SAA. if it sells first I may do that. Thanks

might consider joining the Smith & Wesson Forum, list it in their classifieds...that's where you'll find a both knowledgeable and appreciative fan base for all things Smith, especially older revolvers

I just spoke with place I use to do transfers and they said no I cannot do a face to face transfer here in wa to a Oregon resident. I have never tried before but he also said that was not a option even before 1639 for a handgun.

Can Oregon residents still transfer at WA FFLs after 1639?

The transfer has to be done at an FFL in the tranferee's (buyer's) state of residence. Doesn't matter how the gun gets there, mail, delivered in person, etc. That's federal stuff and predates the 1639 and (OR) SB941 silliness.
