S&W mod 17 small grips needed

Square butt mod 17. Wife started started shooting it but is extremely uncomfortable with the stock grips. She has small hands. She tried another with Hogue Monogrips but the groves didn't match her fingers. Need a small grip without groves. What would you suggest?

Standard manga grips work well when I add a Tyler T-Grip. Try that? No grooves, so hand can fit more comfortably...

The mod 17 she was shooting belonged to her dad who died 10 years ago. After he passed I sent it to Smith for a complete rebuild. With my wife's new interest in shooting I was really hoping the 17 would work for her. But with the award grips and difficulty pulling the hammer back it might be time to look for a J frame. I'd like to score an early one without that safety hole some speak of.
