S&W made my day

    I just wanted to give S&W a nod.
    I recently damaged my M&P15-22. I was trying to remove the flash hider and didn't put the barrel in a vise like I should have (and yes I know better). I twisted the barrel/chamber in the polymer reciever.
    So I sent it in to S&W to see what could be done. I expected to hear back on what it would cost and how long it would take.
    I didn't hear anything for nearly 2 weeks. So I called to check on time frame and make sure I hadn't missed an email.
    Turns out they replaced the upper and it will be back to me in 2 days, no charge.
    Now, I wouldn't recommend tempting fate but I was very pleased with the service.

    Good to hear that customer service is alive and well, at least with some companies.
