S&W M&P15-22 - Owner Feedback

I have a son that's 12 and was looking at these rifles with thoughts of picking one up for him.
The MOE version looks nice & I assume the internals are all the same.'
I seen one for sale on here a while back if it's still avalible you might save a few bucks

For those that own these what say you? Any issues or drawbacks?
Primary use will be range fun & target practice.

My wife that hates guns even enjoys shooting at steal with it.

They area great 22 The best .22LR AR-15 clone out there. All of the controls are identical to the real deal AR-15 and they are fun (and cheap) to shoot.

Mine functions great. Upgraded the trigger with a drop in CMC trigger group #91501. Also a red dot. Just a fun piece to shoot.
