S&W 642-1 (pre-lock) .38 airweight snub

S&W 642-1 airweight in .38 special, good shape, left side shows little to no wear, right side has "scroll marks" on the side plate (I dont have a pic of that side at the moment). This gun has no lock, and is not one of the new "no lock" 642s. Also has the factory box, and papers. And this has a slightly lighter trigger spring installed, but the factory spring will be included as well. $375 now $350

The manual does not specify +p loads, but S&W claims that the current 642's are rated for +P loads, so I would assume so. (although it won't be too comfortable )

From their very first introduction the 642 was rated for +P, and originally had this stamped on the barrel. I held one of the very first ones to reach Portland way back when, and regretably did not buy it.....................elsullo
