Smith and Wesson Model 64-3, 3" barrel, round butt, 38 special. This is one of several engraved "Former Texas Ranger Association" the group special purchased for fundraising. Action is smooth and it is an amazing shooter. Comes with: 1 set of Hogue Bantam Grips, 1 set of Hogue overmoulded large grips, a Bianchi Model 111 Cyclone, thumbsnap, OWB belt holster.
This is not a revolver meant to stay in the safe. It has had several hundred rounds through it and the double action is remarkably smooth. The balance of a 3" barrel with round butt grips is very hard to beat and the reason they are fetching such higher prices. The Former Texas Ranger Association no longer engraves these revolvers so they are scarce. I am getting to age where it is time to downsize. The price is fair for such a quality firearm and cost of a quality holster and grips ($98). No trade interests.
