I have a 5" Model 29 Classic (29-5 with full lug barrel) that was in perfect shape but didn't have the box. Paid $715 for it used and think I got it for a steal given the shape it's in. I'd think the 629 would be a good deal at that price and even higher with the original box, if it's in truly like new shape.

As with anything on Gunbroker, add $70 to get it shipped and transferred to you for a competitive local price. So the $715 quoted by SynapticSilence sounds about right.

Hit the Advanced button next to the search box. Select the Completed tab, and type your search. Check the no reserve box, and the 10 or more bids box. That way you will get only items that actually sold, with multiple bids so you know that is market value, rather than a single bid or buy it now on a low or high price

I just have not familiarized myself being new to gunbroker.

Check S&W forum. Seems collectors pay a premium if you still have the original box and paperwork,,,

Also depends on the dash number, some are more desirable than others.
