It should be able to dry-fire...........

It is a double action only. It will not fire if the hammer is all the way down but is left partly cocked when it cycles. Try racking the slide, it should then fire but you will have to rack the slide again to make it fire again. If this does not work then the gun has a problem.

Forgot to add that the gun has a mag safety and will not fire without a mag. Good luck, these are good hand guns
