is that the factory grip on the gun?

I honestly don't know, I am not the original owner. It does not have the S&W logo like the brand new ones on the S&W site, but looks just like it otherwise. It has a very comfortable 'rubber' type feel much like the hogue grips I have on other handguns. The forum member I purchased from stated around fifty rounds fired. My wife, daughter, and I have put another 100 to 150 rounds through it. If you want me too, I will try contacting the previous owner to try to find out, let me know. Thanks
