Our government is teetering on the edge of insolvency. Theirs is plodding along like always. A LOT of our base manufacturing has been moved overseas while their economy is largely self sufficient. . We'll go broke long before they will.

I think the world trusts them to invade Ukraine. They say they will invade Ukraine and the chances are pretty good they will if they dont get their list of demands satisfied. They dont want NATO incusrion into their sphere of influence. They are actually pretty good at doing what they say and saying what they will do. Its us trying to read into it that is the problem.
