More than incredible - it is a good thing that Russia loses military might. Hopefully it will bring Putin down, and maybe someone sensible will be put in his place (although I doubt it).

The downside is that I think maybe, the Russians will learn from this fiasco (for them), just how poorly their tactics and forces are prepared for modern warfare. If they learn from this (and don't refuse to stick to the old way) then we could be facing a much stronger Russian military sometime in the future.
