They also have a new Super Blackhawk in 44 Mag from 1997 up for auction. Looks like they regularly do these sales for charity. There is a link to their site where they post auction details in the description of each auction. As stated, neat but not that neat. Maybe if the right gun came up.

These were produced years ago. Most went to LE. Ruger never had enough sales to keep it in production. They are now a collectable item.

FYI Ruger frequently lists items on GB with the proceeds normally going to benefit a group in the shooting world. There have been some one of a kind items listed and the bidding can get interesting.

The only thing 'takedown' on the new ones is the barrel. It is kind of convenient for cleaning.
