I just picked up a brand new KP95 with the safety and de-cocker yesterday and went straight to the range. I put 150 rounds of Blazer Brass through the pipe without a single issue. As soon as I got home, i field stripped it to give it a good cleaning. As soon as I popped the guide rod assembly out, the collar popped off and flew across the room. I managed to find it, and got the thing put back together and the gun re-assembled. Has anyone else on here had the same problem? Should I call Ruger and get the whole assembly replaced? Return the gun to the shop? Any advice would be appreciated.
