Ruger model 24 .22/.410

I have recently became the owner of this gun and it has a couple of problems. The selector button does not work. My Bore Light lets me look into it and I can see a broken piece that looks like it has a shaft running through it. The trigger guard is also broken. Any one know where I can Fine parts for this gun? If it makes any difference, the barrels are mated together. I have seen some with a gap between them.

Yes. You are correct. It is a Savage 24. It was too late to correct the mistake. I did put in the Right model, and then found your reply. Thank you for pointing this out to me. Can you help me?

They MIGHT have a used part someone sold them. I had the same thing happen over 30 years ago. No parts were available then from Numrich or Savage. The solution was a later model hammer with a selector on the hammer.
