Ruger MKII value?

I have a Ruger MKII 2003 vintage that was fired 2 mags and put in my safe. Its a standard model, nothing special but in perfect condition. What would be a fair price if selling to a coworker (he want's it to start his son out in the shooting sports)?

Depends on what you mean by "standard model".

Standard model to most people is the 4" or 6" blued tapered barrel with fixed sights, if so about $300-$350.

If 4" or 6" tapered barrel fixed sights & stainless more like $350-$400.

If it is a 5-1/2" bull barrel target adjustable sights blued $400-$450. If stainless bull then $450-$500.

Slab side stainless 6-7/8" $500+
