After tweaking my 22/45 Mk III with some VQ parts and breaking it in, it's proven to be excellent with a wide variety of ammo. Federal, Blazer, Norma...
Haven't owned a Buckmark, though they look like well made pieces.
I just wanted a threaded barrel and the 22/45 was closer-to-ready than are the Buckmarks.
(One proviso: I had a horrible 500-round box of Winchester Wildcat ammo that had about a 20% failure rate, but can't blame that on the pistol, I mean, some of them would not go off even after receiving five hard primer strikes.)
