I have a good friend that inherited a very nice, hardly shot (40-50 rds) 1975 Ruger Mini 14 Ranch rifle and wants to know what it's worth.
I'm not a fan of these early series 180 models and do know that Ruger doesn't support them anymore.
I haven't found any recent sales of them online, so I'm posting on here to figure out a value for it.
No box or papers, just the rifle, which is blued, not stainless.
Any helpful info would be appreciated.

That's what he says it is. The serial numbers are 180-195XX

Just looked up the numbers and it's not a ranch model, just a standard one.

The Ruger Mini-14 was introduced in 1973. It is more valuable if you gave the original factory scope rings. My Ranch Rifle was dual rated for .223 & 5.56x45 NATO, not sure if the original Mini-14 was. I believe all Ranch Rifles were, they also came with a couple of 20 round mags along with the standard 5 round.
