    Selling a 98+% condition Ruger M77R 243, with a Leupold 2x7 scope. Excellent, original low round count rifle, less than one box down the barrel. This rifle is 27 years old! $625 with scope, $525 with out. Thanks for looking! 360-909-0990 evenings and weekends. SOLD

    If I don't sell the scope with the rifle, I will use it on another project. So, the scope is not for sale at this time. Thanks for looking!

    Is that a similar vintage Leopold gold ring scope? If so, I have that 2x7 on my M77 tang safety .270. It's awesome.

    I think it's a mistake to have too high of power on a hunting rifle. If you find yourself in the woods and targets are closer, that 2x is just the ticket. For reasonable longer shots in the open, 7x is no slouch.
