I would bet on it being a 300 Rem saum. I don't think that rifle was ever chambered in 300 rum.

I think its a 300 win mag, looks like a long action from what I can see i the pics. Only other possibilities are 300 short action ultra mag, 300 wsm, or 300 rcm.
