I'm not familiar with a 3 position tang safety, could you get a picture of that?

Its not a tang safety its the mark 2 safety so its similar to the Winchester model 70 safety. it has a fire, half safety and then the full fits into a notch on the bolt that inhibits the firing plunger from going forward.

Yeah, that I'm familiar with. I figured that was what it really was, but can't see that clearly in the pictures.
