This is my Ruger M77 based Gunsite Scout in 308
My research shows this to be a 2012 model.
This has been a safe queen since new.
Sold to me as unfired, which I believe is correct.

I had big plans for this but life changes.
As most of your know, this weapon was developed from Col. Jeff Coopers
design for a simple, light, reliable, hard hitting weapon, with the ability
to have an optic forward mounted of the action, to aid in shooting both eyes open.
It has the ability to do that (picatinny rail) Factory, included.
or to mount a scope in a conventional, over receiver location (rings). Factory included.
Also has manual sites. Factory included.

As I understand it, it was co-designed between Ruger, Col. Cooper, and the Gunsite Weapons Training Facility.
This is for sale for $750 If interested, hit me up
People on Gunbroker.Com are pretty proud of theirs, (up to $1500), not my thing.

Nice rifle, I love my scout, I changed the scope placement on mine because it's a little harder to find scopes with those long eye reliefs

True but you can see how it's super green with dark looking grain where as his grain is light like mine
