Hello I am interested in this rifle. Have you shot this rifle yourself? Do you have any history on this rifle. It looks to be in great shape.

I bought the rifle a couple of years ago. It was in fantastic shape except the original stock was cracked. I still have that stock and can go with the rifle. It is too bad because it is in great shape except for the crack. The stock that is in the photos is one that I picked up from my gunsmith. It shows some signs of use.

The bluing is very nice, I could pick out some small areas that are not perfect and it takes a while to find them if you don't know they are there.

As for the gun being shot:
I doubt if if had a box of ammo through it before I bought it. My wife and I have both fired the rifle at the range. I would say less than 150 rounds. I did get it to shoot under 1" at 75 yards with handloads. My father in laws range is only 75 yards an that is where we shoot.

I am selling it because I have 3 280's and am wanting something new.
