I recently purchased a 264 win mag in a Stainless Ruger Hawkeye.. 24 inch barrel. I know that best results in this caliber are in 26 inch barrels an longer.. I need a good starting place for hand loads if some one has this gun or recommendations.
    Thanks!!

Hmmm!!! Figured someone owned an hand loaded for a 264... Since factory ammo is so cheap, factory loads maybe the way to go.

Kentuck, wrong forum. Were this in the proper forum I feel confident that many would recommend you buy a reloading manual.. that has .264 data in it.
    good luck

Id definitely pick a powder no faster than H4831 or RL22. What bullet are you thinking?
