Ruger BX-25 magazine in Ruger American Rifle 22LR

Has anyone tried the BX-22 magazine in the Ruger American rifle? I know that the BX-25 is made for the Ruger 10/22. But I know it fits in the American Rifle. But has anyone had any reliability issues or problems of the BX-25 in the American Rifle and don't recommend it? These magazines cost quite a bit and wonder if I should spend the cash for it. Yes. They work.

That's a benefit to the Ruger American line, they were designed to accept 10/22 magazines. Also happened to be one requirement when I purchased mine (common magazine availability).
