I have had a .308 RAR for several years now, and it's DEFINITELY an accurate (and light) hunting rifle that's my "go-to" for that task.

I also love my Ruger American Rimfire in 22lr. Super accurate, and the trigger is really superb (the Center fire versions have a the same "marksman" triggers as the rimfires).
If I were in the market for a centerfire bolt action that wouldn't break the bank, this rifle would be at the top of my list.
