Damn, this is the same thing that happened when the MKIV 22/45 hit the market. This one sounds maybe not quite and bad, at least so far. The MKIV mess they recalled all of them.

I don't see the problem. It's being addressed proactively by Ruger and future product runs will have the upgraded part. It wouldn't sway me from buying one.
