Unfortunately, since the enacting of the miserable SB 941 (creating the demise of private FTF sales in Oregon a couple months ago), the ID request has become more or less obsolete, since the transaction is now required to be handled through an FFL dealer. Identification of the purchaser is logged by whatever dealer is chosen while processing the required background check.
