Thanks for this @Joe Link! I had it in mind to build a 10/22 from scratch but this caused me to go get myself a B-Day present that I can use *while* replacing parts.

Got the scope as dialed in as much as possible at the short little pistol range (until I can get out). It's not too shabby.

And I agree @Dyjital. I picked one up myself just so I could swap my silver receiver to black. Not like I can't use a spare 10/22 anyhow, with all the new people I take shooting
