As this has been here for quite a while with no takers, I'm lowering the price to rock bottom level. If it still doesn't get any traction, then Gunbroker becomes my last option. Here's a final chance to get a quality .44 Special for a really good price.

07/27/19 - Price lowerd to $325.00

07/21/19 - Price lowered to $395.00

05/26/19 - Price lowered to $405.00

04/07/19 - Price now lowered to $420.00

03/06/19 - Price Lowered to $450.00

Up for sale is a beautiful 3" Rossi Model 720. I purchased it used and took it to the range once to ensure proper functioning, it has been a safe queen ever since. I am getting rid of a few firearms I never use/shoot and this is one of them. The photos do not do the beautiful stainless finish of this revolver justice. My wife calls it "pretty". The trigger has a very smooth pull-through. There is some discoloration at the front of the cylinder because this gun has been shot, but not much. However, I would easily rate the overall condition at 90-95%, you might rate it higher.

Folks, this is a really solid gun. In my opinion it's MUCH stronger than the Smith & Wesson Model 696 which it's very similar to (patterned after). And if you want a .44 special revolver and the S&W appeals to you - be prepared to fork over $1000 - $1500 for something that will very likely not be in as good condition as this Rossi. Do you want a collector's safe queen or would you rather have a gun that you can shoot and enjoy time at the range with? It's also a decent size for concealed carry and manages well in the holster.

A few details that might matter to some buyers - the Rossi M720 was imported by Interarms. It weighs 29.5 oz. I put it on my Lyman Trigger pull gauge and the DAO pull measures pretty consistently at 11 lbs, 6 oz.

The sale also includes a quality Azula brand pancake-style holster.

Asking $500 or best reasonable offer.

If you have any questions, please ask and I will promptly get you answers.

I have the same gun with the regular hammer, we just took it out shooting this weekend.

Solid little revolver, i carry mine once in a while. I have two of the same vintage Rossi 971 - 357 magnum revolvers with the muzzle compensators. One of my favorite shooting revolvers.

Hi Thor,

I appreciate the offer but I'm just trying to pare down what I have on hand and put together some $$$ to paint the house this summer.
