I've used it when installing the muzzlebrake/silencer mount on two rifles (an SBRed AR-15 and a Mini-14) and have had no issues. The packets that came with the silencer were pretty worthless, so I just bought a small bottle of the stuff.

Yes, especially for suppressor mounts. It's designed to withstand high heat.

Use it sparingly, though. You only need 1-2 drops, otherwise it's almost impossible to remove the muzzle device later.

Rocksett is not as strong as blue loctite. Just wrench it off as if there was nothing there. It is also water soluble, if does resist soak it, done.

Rocksett is not really the best threadlocking compound until temperatures get well above the working levels of typical Loctites.
At high temperatures, Loctite becomes worthless, but Rocksett will still hold up. That's why it's used instead of Loctite on muzzle devices/suppressor mounts.
