Since the inception of the RMEF in 1984, the Foundation has funded over 7,000 projects, protecting or enhancing more than 6 million acres of wildlife habitat across North America. We have also opened and or secured more than 626,000 acres of land for public access for hunting and other outdoor recreation. In Oregon alone, the RMEF has completed over 690 projects with a total investment in elk & wildlife habitat of over $41 million dollars.
