I really enjoyed learning from Barry on the Iraqveteran8888 youtube channel and was sad to see that he had to leave the channel for various reasons. Now, it seems, he passed away this weekend.

Barry the oldest child of Ernest Milton (Bobby) and Mary (Edith) Hightower Elliott passed away quietly Sat. morning. He is survived by his brothers, Bryan, and Brad, sister Branna, sons Robert Nathan (Bobby) and Chad, two granddaughters and one grandson. He was a major gun enthusiast and was a cast member of the show, Hillbilly Preppers. The gun community has lost a major supporter.

Too bad, I enjoyed many an hour watching them together. R.I.P. Barry, you will live on in youtube vids and Iraqveteran8888 will hopefully carry on the good fight. I've followed Iraqveteran8888 for a long time and learned a lot as well as been entertained by his vids over the years.

That guy was an hornery, know-it-all, 'been-there-done-that' guy in every vid.

I want to be him when I grow up. I really enjoyed his ramblings and his view points.
