I love those .308 Ishapores. I bought one on here recently with all matching numbers for $150. I think that was really cheap. Anyways, with the black paint, mine had this really thick garbage paint on it (even on the bolt, which interfered with the action) which would just flake off. I spent several hours removing that paint, because not only did it look bad, but it just caused problems. I seriously doubt that was a stock paintjob. Under the bad paint was mostly metal but there were some spots where it was clear an old paintjob was there and far more durable.
