Oh sorry. It's a .308 . I looked this particular rifle up in our book at the shop. It has a rare smooth action that was only used in some rifles. I'm only selling because I mostly use 30-06 and I'm on a revolver binge.

If it is a .308, it most likely is Rechambered from a 300 savage.

All I know is from our catalog. I took it in on trade. I'm admittedly kinda of ignorant when it comes to hunting rifles. I have to reference everything since my dad died last year. He new it all by memory.

Yes sir. It is a .308 . I've shot it many times. I took it in on trade but that was ten years ago. Very nice to shoot and accurate but I prefer my 30-06.

Maybe but doubtful. The .308 was chambered from 1956 thru 1962.
