I got one of the Wrapid Loaders too, plus one of the Japanese S-L Variants.

Both work fine with my GP100 in practice in the garage. The S-L seems as good as my original German versions. The coolest part is "wripping" the Wrapid loader off and leaving rounds in a spinning cylinder.

Got my 5 round loader today and just like the 6, it works fine and I'm getting better at using it. I can now load faster than using my other speed loaders. :s0155:

Interesting idea. In the past, I've owned "traditional" speed loaders for a number of revolvers, just because I could. Never used nor carried them. For the same reason, probably would have no practical use for this new thing. I'm going to do everything in my power to avoid a gunfight that would involve recharging. For the same reason, I don't worry too much about magazine capacity in semi autos.

Just today I was watching a video about small arms that were carried on the USS New Jersey in the 1980's. The guy had the actual inventory and sign-out log for small arms issue. The records showed that typical issue of a sidearm was the 1911 pistol, two magazines, and ten (10) rounds of ammo. That's right, five (5) rounds in each of the two (2) magazines. They weren't taking any chances on a full but potentially balky magazine.

Ah, the new jersey reload. Because can only count to five.
