THESE GUNS RETURNED 9-7-11
Hi All, A good friend just informed me of a theft of firearms, all long guns, and asked me to keep an eye out for them. I have copied the info below in case any of you stumble on to them. I know chances are rather slim, but worth the try. Sure would be great to recover one or more...and even better, the bad guy.
"I had four rifles stolen from my attic (long story, hardly believable but true), and the serial numbers are in a national data base via Salem PD, but I thought I'd send the info to you as well.
> -Winchester model 67 bolt action single shot .22 rifle...no serial # (goodbye)
> -Winchester model 94 32 cal. lever action , wood stock (my mother's rifle, a beautiful well-used firearm)
> -Winchester model 12 12G shotgun, blued, wood stock, with "Roy Love" on the butt plate
> -Winchester model 12 12 G shotgun 2 3/4 cham. Full model, wood stock, rust pitted barrel ...."
