I am 55 and stole a car and driving while suspended as a teen. Both were felonies back then. On the straight and narrow since then. Neither show up on file at multnomah co court house but I was denied hand gun purchase. Is it possible to restore my 2 nd amendment rights? Thank you

I know it's possible, but you may have to hire an attorney to do it. There are some in the area that do that kind of work.

You are in for quite an up hill ordeal here but yes, you can fight! I do not know how one goes about it but I do know your record can be expunged by a court! My advice is to contact your local sheriff office and ask for help! You can also challenge a denial with the Oregon State Police fire arms unit! I understand it can be quite a process! My brother had to go through this for a domestic he had with his neighbor! I think it took him over a year to get clean!
