I'll admit that some days reloading is work but owning an ammo business it is what I do. I just remember that I run the business not the other way around. I still enjoy shooting and testing new loads so I try to get out at least once a week and do some of that. The other thing is my time is my time. If I don't want to start pulling the handle until 10 am and stop at noon so I can take the dog for a walk so be it. If I'm bored and my wifes got her nose in the TV or whatever I might do another hour or so in the evening.

So, if I have reloads, that say I didn't reload, but bought from someone here and I sell them to someone else, that's illegal?

If you are selling them for the purpose of your livelihood and profit, then yes.

If these were intended for personal use, then no.

Either way, it's against NWFA rules to list them in the NWFA classifieds, even as components.

I have bought a bunch of reloads and have had good luck with firing them so far. One of these days my luck could run out.

Just curious, so whats up with the resale ammo prices on the classifieds? Members are asking full price for their ammo and that requires someone to reach out and set a meet-up which entails multiple messages back and forth and fuel cost to go meet. All that to save maby 5$ on the overall cost?!? I'd rather go to a store that has it in stock ( # COVIDISOVER ammo is everywhere) and pay full price (+5$ most of the time) than messaging someone and dealing with a meet up. Saving 5-10$ isn't worth the hassle and the stuff is on the shelf literally everywhere. Benefits of buying resale for cost?

I bought a box of reloads once, at a GS from a dealer, but it was out of necessity as I had just 'got back' into 1911s and had bought one at the show and wanted to stop and shoot it on my way home; as well as to have some brass to start loading with.

I recall having a couple chambering problems, including one FTE but I attribute this to the gun being NIB, not yet disassembled and cleaned.
