Renewed Oregon CCL

Just recieved my new CCL and list of no carry places.
Federal, Endangered Species Areas that are posted No Firearms, Indian Casino's, Airport property, Post office, Federal facilities, Indian reservations, Military reservations, Federal court house.
Nevada is now a open carry only state. Supprised me on that one.
Oregon, Court house's and Posted Private Property.
States that honor Oregon CCL, Idaho, Alaska, Arizona, Utah. I left the other out because they are not on my week drive list.

Beware of traveling in California with a hand gun, Hand gun and mags must be empty and stored, Ammo must be stored in a locked storeage box. Yup, they are busting the tourists and out of state travelers. So don't give the dirt bags a reason to pull you over and search your rig.

Congrats on getting your CHL. But the list of places where you can't carry with a CHL has at least one mistake in it. There is no restriction for general areas of an airport. The city of Portland lost that lawsuit several years ago when they tried to enforce a law they made up.

Just copied what was on the paper. CHL for 20 plus years now until 2018. It goes in my casket with me when ever that time comes. If nothing else just to piss off the anti's. Glad they kept my old mugshoot , I look sober.

From what county in Oregon did you receive that list. Some counties have been playing fast and lose with the actual regulations when they describe where you can't go.

As mentioned elsewhere, Post Offices are not exempt. They are federal facilities, but do not contain federal employees.

Some Indian Reservations do allow concealed carry for Oregon CHL holders. Some allow it in the Casinos and public areas of the reservation by non-tribal members. Some like Umatilla will just endorse your CHL if you bring it to the courthouse and have the judge sign the back. Call and ask, they tend to respect the CHL.
