I'm thinkin it was to get rid of the on going costs of litigating things, starting over without any admission of anything!I wonder if this was a way to wipe the slate clean so the company could be sold?
Maybe the new remington will end up like the old smith and wesson?Remington shouldn't be on the hook for even one cent.
Maybe. I gave up on Remington a while ago now but I don't think they are responsible for anything. That whole " marketing guns of war" thing is stupid. I see car commercials for Corvettes and Camaros showcasing smoking tires and high speed. But nobody is suing them for driving their products too fast.Maybe the new remington will end up like the old smith and wesson?
Agreed, completely. They had nothing to do with the horror in CT.Remington shouldn't be on the hook for even one cent.
People sue restaurants for getting burned by hot coffee they spill on themselves, so I imagine the scenario you describe isn't too far from reality.how is it remingtons fault? do tweakers sue diehard batteries when a batch of bad meth kills a whole herd of them?
