I think you are about book for an 8, my best friend has one we were checking the Gun Values book in and learned that the 8a's came with checkered stocks and the 8's came slick. his is in 30Rem and is slick too. Too bad it's not checkered they bring more $$

Do you have any ammo to go with it ? If not good luck on your sale .25 renington isn't easy to find and very expensive if you can find it and most is corroded from age.
